Internal audit is one of the oldest department of OAUTHC, Ile-Ife. The department is directly responsible to the Chief Accounting Officer of the Institution who is the Chief Medical Director.

FUNCTION OF THE DEPARTMENT

The primary function of internal audit department is to provide a complete and continuous audit of all accounts and records of revenue and expenditure, plants, allocated and unallocated stores.

The functions of department include the followings:

The internal audit is duty bond to submit the following report to the Management

• Monthly report
• Quarterly report
• Half year/interim report
• Annual report
• Exception reports, audit alarm/query as at when necessary.

UNIT OF THE DEPARTMENTS AND HEADS

The department is divided into six (6) units and each unit is headed by a competent accountant as stated below:
