Residency Training programme kin Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Our residency programme is the best in west african Subregion and in Nigeria. Our residents have consistently led in all
the examinations at the west african Postgraduate college and the National Postgraduate college in the Faculty of Obstetrics and
Gynaecology and we also have the hihest ;pass rate from both the colleges in the last consecutive ten years. The succes of our residents
at these examkinations is due to factors ranging from solid postgraduate academic curriculum inhernt in the department
combined with sound theoretical and practical teaching of residents by the academics staff.
Research: A lot of researches are on going in various sub speciality units of the department and these have
culminated in a lot of research publications
Service:The department continues to offer high quality service delivery to the community in areas of reproductive,
oncology, Maternal and fetal medicine, family Planing and community Obstetrics.
